  • Nanhai Guanyin -- Dadongtian/Xiaodongtian / Tianya Haijiao -- Return to Hotel
  • Breakfast

In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, take a bus to Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, where stands the world's tallest seaside Guanyin statue, 108 meters high, the largest sea Guanyin statue in the world. Its design is a "three-in-one statue with three faces", divided into east, west and north faces. The north face holds a sutra box, symbolizing wisdom; the east face holds a lotus flower, symbolizing peace; the west face holds prayer beads, symbolizing compassion. In Buddhism, Guanyin Bodhisattva is a symbol of compassion and salvation, deeply revered and loved by believers. Guanyin Bodhisattva has twelve vows, and the second vow is "to reside in the South China Sea forever", hence the name Nanhai Guanyin.
Visitors can walk to the lotus base to pray by touching the Buddha's feet, which requires climbing 108 steps. You can also tie wish ribbons in the Wish Forest next to the Golden and Jade Guanyin Hall. There is also a vegetarian restaurant in the scenic area, and incense sticks are available for free in the scenic area.

Recommended route:
Scenic Area Entrance → Battery Car → Seaside Guanyin → Nanshan Temple → Thirty-Three Guanyin Hall → Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum → Return.
In the afternoon, take a bus to Dadongtian and Xiaodongtian, which was founded in 1187 AD and has a history of over 800 years. It is the oldest scenic spot in Hainan Province and a Taoist cultural tourist attraction at the southernmost tip of China. Formerly known as Aoshan Dadongtian and Xiaodongtian, it is known as the top landscape in Qiongya. The scenic area features uniquely beautiful sea views, mountain views, and stone views, with mountains and seas integrated, complementing each other. The coast is lined with strange rocks and boulders. Between the two headlands is Xiaoyue Bay Beach, with majestic and elegant mountains and dense vegetation. The scenic area also has more than 30,000 of the oldest plants on earth so far, known as the "living fossil of plants on earth" — dragon's blood trees, which are a symbol of longevity culture.

Other recommendations:
If you have enough time, you can also visit Tianya Haijiao, one of the most famous landmark scenic spots in Sanya, famous for the boulders inscribed with "Tianya" (End of the World) and "Haijiao" (Corner of the Sea), symbolizing romantic love and eternal vows. It is suitable for couples, families and tourists who like taking photos. Cliff inscriptions such as "Tianya", "Haijiao" and "Nantian Yizhu" (the background of the back of the fourth set of RMB 2 banknotes) are the core landscapes of the scenic area. These inscriptions carry rich historical and cultural connotations. The term "Tianya Haijiao" was used to express the feeling of being in a foreign land in ancient times, and after thousands of years of accumulation, it has become a symbol of people's yearning for the distance, romance and a better future.
Characteristic experience: You can send postcards with the "Tianya Haijiao" postmark at the Love Post Office; many couples take wedding photos here, with a super beautiful background.
In the evening, go to Coconut Dream Corridor to watch the sunset. It is a 20-kilometer-long coastal landscape avenue in Sanya Bay, known as "Sanya's most beautiful sunset viewing spot" for its stretching coconut groves, delicate beaches and stunning sunsets. It is open for free, suitable for walking, taking photos and cycling, and is one of the most romantic sunset check-in spots in Sanya. The setting sun filtering through the coconut trees creates perfect tropical-style photos. Even in the evening, the ultraviolet rays are still strong, so it is recommended to wear a hat and sunglasses.
Return to the hotel to rest in the evening, and you can choose to explore freely.

Recommended itinerary:
Xianmang Night Market: It is one of the emerging internet-famous night markets in Sanya, focusing on tropical fruits, characteristic snacks and a young and trendy atmosphere, especially famous for mango-themed foods, such as: fresh mango shaved ice, mango glutinous rice, zao pocu (fermented vinegar soup), coconut milk qingbuliang (cooling dessert) and so on.

Suggestions for major transportation:
You can arrive in Sanya by plane. Sanya Phoenix International Airport has flights to many domestic and foreign cities, such as: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an, Kunming, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Seoul, Busan, Osaka, etc.

Accommodation suggestions:
You can choose a hotel near Haitang Bay or Sanya Bay. Of course, you can also consult Intotravelchina consultants for booking or recommendations.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
